Where are we Cora???

Dave explained to us that the daily life of a Ugandan woman is very difficult. They are expected to take care of the children, work the fields and cook and clean alongside several other wives to one husband. The dowry system is very prevalent- these women are bought at a price with no choice in the matter. They are unable to experience the fullness of a relationship with one man. One in six Ugandans have a mental illness and this comes from the emotional absence of the fathers.
Here's a picture of the women working the fields and one block down, we saw the men drinking and playing games.
We packed 350 bags each with a t-shirt and a water bottle to give to each of the girls in the soccer camp. They were ecstatic!
