DAY 2

After giving each girl a t-shirt, water bottle and bag on the first day, they were exstatic for the second day!!!  

We started the day with praise music and a message from Pastor Tom.  The opening match had hundreds of people surrounding the field and Tammy and Carrie helped to warm the teams up for the game.  

We were very impressed!  One of the teams proved to be very talented! Many of the teams though do not wear shoes; they play completely barefoot. The fields are mostly dirt with lumps, rocks, and even ground hog mounds/holes.....but they play through it all and are actually very physical!

Games filled the day,  we ran a training session with one team, and we finished the day off with a message of the gospel!  Many of the young girls came to Christ!!!  

Right after lunchtime, I (Chelsea) brought pop tarts, Ritz cheese crackers, toys, homemade bracelets and coloring supplies for the kids and began handing all of it out. As you can imagine, this drew a lot of attention. This picture shows only the beginning of my day spent with the kids.
